General Assistance follows the guidelines set forth in the county ordinance established by the Madison County Board of Supervisors. Madison County General Assistance includes the following services: rental assistance, utility assistance, medical, dental, and prescription assistance, transportation (employment purposes only), and funeral assistance (cremation only).
