Madison County General Assistance provides assistance to Madison County residents who meet county eligibility guidelines. General Assistance follows the guidelines set forth in the county ordinance established by the Madison County Board of Supervisors.

Madison County General Assistance includes the following services: rental assistance, utility assistance, medical, dental, and prescription assistance, transportation (employment purposes only), and funeral assistance (cremation only).
For general questions or further assistance please contact the Community Services Office.

CICS supports individuals and strengthens communities by serving the unique needs of individuals with mental health, intellectual and other developmental disabilities in 11 Iowa counties: Boone, Greene, Franklin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Madison, Marshall, Poweshiek, Story and Warren.
CICS is focused on:
Providing the vital link between individuals and appropriate resources in the region/community to improve health, hope and successful outcomes.
CICS Service Coordinators help individuals navigate through the process of applying for and securing the necessary financial support for their immediate needs.

Brookhaven NeuroRehabilitation Network offers hope to people recovering from a brain injury and provides support to their families and friends.  We understand the changing needs of individuals at different stages in their recovery and have created unique programs, designed specifically for individuals experiencing a variety of difficulties as a result of a brain injury.  This includes community-based neuro-rehabilitation services and an inpatient option when appropriate.
